Project Budget: 3.3 million
Budget is $3.3 million to install wireless access to all academic buildings, non-academic buildings, athletics facilities, and targeted outdoor spaces throughout campus. Once the project is complete, there will be approximately 1,750 wireless access points installed on campus. Implementation began in October of 2010. It is anticipated to be completed by 2013.

Phase I and II for the project have been completed. The electrical bid for the last phase have been finalized and submitted to Purchasing. We are awaiting a posting date.
All exterior antenna wiring installation work and access points around campus, including the Quad area, has been completed including Schroeder Hall. The electrical bid for the FY13 phase have been finalized and submitted to Purchasing. We are awaiting a posting date.
This project is comprised of 3 phases to install wireless access. Work will be done between October 2010 and 2013 to all academic buildings, non-academic buildings, athletics facilities, and targeted outdoor spaces throughout the ISU campus. Phase 1 of this project was completed in FY11 and Phase II is underway.
The contractor, Anderson Electric, has completed electrical work and installed access points for State Farm Hall of Business building, Science Lab building, Julian Hall, Center for Visual Arts, Centennial East, Centennial West, and Milner Library.
All exterior antenna installation work around campus, including the Quad area, are complete with the exception of Schroeder Hall. Adjustments are still being made to that building and the work is anticipated to take three weeks for completion.
