Description

The $2.6 million project was approved by the Board of Trustees in July 24, 2010 and authorized the University administration to proceed with appropriate purchasing processes for the renovation of 12-passenger elevators within the West and East campus Residence Hall Complexes during FY 2011 and FY 2012.

Construction updates (August 27, 2012)

Schindler Elevator Co., has completed work on Hewett elevator number 2 and 3, and Manchester elevator number 4 and 6 at the East Campus Residence Complex. Both Haynie elevator number 4 and Wright elevator number 6 have been completed and have passed inspections on December 2, 2011. Schindler Elevator Co., has also completed Hewett #1, Manchester #4. Haynie #3, and Wilkins #2 elevators in April. The remaining two elevators, Wilkins #1 and Wright #5, have been completed and are operational.
