About

The mission of Facilities Services at Illinois State University is to provide safe, functional, aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sustainable buildings and grounds which are conducive to the delivery of education.

Facilities Services consists of seven departments: Facilities Administration, Facilities Planning and Design, Facilities Construction, Energy Management, Maintenance and Operations, Business Operations, and Environmental Health and Safety. Mike Gebeke, Associate Vice President of Facilities Services and his departments report to the Vice President for Finance and Planning.

The departments are responsible for the development, maintenance, and safety of Illinois State University campus buildings and grounds. Together we strive to create a well-maintained, aesthetically beautiful, and safe campus environment. The directors and specific responsibilities are listed below to aid you in understanding each department.
