What is a GIS (Geographic Information System)?
A Geographic Information System (GIS) allows us to visualize, question, analyze, and interpret data to understand relationships, patterns, and trends. GIS is widely used to optimize maintenance schedules and better inform decision-making by providing actionable spatial information. If you want to learn more about GIS, please use this link to go to the ESRI web page on the topic.

GIS Data/Mapping Request Form
The GIS Data/Mapping Request Form should be used to request the updating of data (add, remove, edit) to existing GIS maps and create a new map. The record for tree planting should be updated in the Tree Planting spreadsheet (login required).
