The Facilities Maintenance Operations Unit is comprised of highly skilled individuals whose services include the repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment throughout campus. These workers attend to all the Preventive Maintenance and Routine and Reactive work that is needed on a regular basis. The team maintains all buildings, including the residence halls and dining centers on campus. Work requests for all of our maintenance team can be made by utilizing iServiceDesk.
The campus is maintained by the following: Automation Technicians, Carpenters, Chief Engineers, Electricians, Maintenance, Painters, Plumbers, Pipefitters, Refrigeration Mechanics, Stationary Engineers, Stationary Firemen, and Water Operators. Their duties range from service calls to major repair and construction projects. Most Residential and Campus Dining maintenance problems are handled by the Building Mechanics and Building Operating Engineers.
